He is the current Chairman of the Board and pensioners representative. He is a Certified Pension Fund Trustee and a qualified Accountant, having worked with Kenya Power & Lighting Company PLC for 21 years in senior management positions prior to his retirement in the year 2000. He has vast experience in Finance, Customer Service and Marketing.
He is a member-representative and Certified Pension Fund Trustee. He is also the General Secretary of the Kenya Electrical Trades & Allied Workers Union (KETAWU), 1st Assistant Secretary General of Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU-K), and a director at the Affordable Housing Board. He is well versed in energy, human resources, project management, social protection and labour matters, having worked for Kenya Power and Lighting Company PLC and Kenya Electricity Generating Company. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) Degree in Labour Management Relations and Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree (Hons) in Political Science and Public Administration.
