Kenya Power Pension Fund Supports Education with Furniture Donation to Karega Primary School
In its ongoing commitment to supporting local communities through impactful Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, the Fund focused on education as part of this year’s efforts in Murang’a County.
Working closely with Karega Primary School administration, KPPF’s CSR Committee conducted a thorough assessment of the school’s needs to address the challenge of inadequate classroom resources, particularly as the school’s student population continues to grow. The evaluation highlighted the need for additional desks, tables, chairs, and mattresses to enhance the comfort and functionality of the school’s learning spaces. In response, the Fund donated 30 desks, 10 tables, 40 chairs, and 20 mattresses, creating a more conducive environment for students. This donation is expected to significantly improve the school’s ability to accommodate more students and contribute to better educational outcomes.
Through this initiative, the Fund reaffirms its commitment to corporate social responsibility, understanding that investments in education are crucial for societal growth and transformation. By supporting Karega Primary School, the Fund continues to empower young learners, creating lasting opportunities for a brighter future.
