Board. He is a qualified Accountant and worked with The Kenya Power and Lighting Company Ltd for 21 years where he held senior management positions prior to his retirement in the year 2000. He has vast experience in Finance, Customer Service and Marketing. He is also a Certified Pension Fund Trustee.

He was appointed to the Board in September, 2003. He holds a Master of Arts (MA) in Labour Management Relations(UON), Bachelor of Arts (B.A) Degree (Hons(UoN). He is the General Secretary of the Kenya Electrical Trades & Allied Workers Union (KETAWU) a position he has held for the past 17years. He is well versed in energy, human resources, social protection and labour matters, having worked for The Kenya Power and Lighting Company Ltd and Kengen for 16 years. He is the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the DC Fund and also Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Kengen Company Limited Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme (DC Scheme) and a Trustee of Kengen Company Limited Staff Retirement Benefits Scheme (DB Scheme). He is the 1st Assistant Secretary General for Central Organization of Trade Union (COTU-K) and the Director of The National Industrial Training Authority Board (NITA).In addition, he is also the founder Director of the newly established parastatal, Kenya National Qualification Frame Work Authority(KNQF)and a member of The National Labour Board. He is a Certified Pension Fund Trustee.

He was appointed to the Board in June 2023 and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University (China) majoring in Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Nairobi. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of London, a pre-Kenya School of Law certificate from Riara University, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Radiation Protection from the University of Nairobi. He is the Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer of the Kenya Power & Lighting Company (KPLC), Prior to his appointment, Dr. Siror was the General Manager in charge of Technical Services (System Operations and Power Management) at the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO).
He has experience spanning over 30 years in diverse business portfolios, ranging from telecommunications; income tax and customs; manufacturing, information communication, and technology and energy transmission. is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a licensed Professional Electrical Engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya (EBK). He is also a Corporate Member of the Institute of Engineers in Kenya (IEK).

She holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) from the University of Nairobi, a Bachelor in Laws (LL.B) from Moi University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Law, and a Higher National Diploma in Human Resources Management. She is also a certified Public Secretary (CPS K). She is a member ICSPS and an Advocate of the High Court. She has served at Kenya Power for over 9 years. Currently she is the General Manager, Corporate Affairs & Company Secretary in Kenya Power and Lighting Company Ltd.

She holds a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management from USIU-A and a Certificate in HR Practice from Cornell University. She is a member of Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) and Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development (CIPD), UK. She has over 14 years’ experience as a human resources professional having worked in several organizations. Currently she is the General Manager, Human Resource & Administration, Kenya Power & Lighting Company Ltd.

He was appointed to the Board on 5th December, 2022. He holds an MBA Finance, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Accounting from University of Nairobi, as well as a Diploma in Computerized Accounting from the College of Accounting. He is also a Certified Public Accountant – CPA (K) with over 19 years’ experience, 15 of which have been in the energy sector. He has served at Kenya Power & Lighting Company for 16 years, and is currently the General Manager, Finance.

He holds a Master of Science in Commerce (Finance & Investment), a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance option) degree, he is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA K) and is member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK). He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Labour Policy Studies. He is the Deputy General Secretary of the Kenya Electrical Trades & Allied Workers Union (KETAWU). Prior to joining KETAWU he worked with Kenya Power and Lighting Company Ltd for 16 years in Finance where he gained a wide experience in finance and accounting. He is a Certified Pension Fund Trustee.

He was appointed to the Board in August 2023 and holds an MBA degree in Strategic Management and a BSc degree in Electrical Engineering. He has worked in the energy sector for over 37 years at Kenya Pipeline Company, Kenya Power, and KenGen. He served as Managing Director of KenGen from January 2014 until his retirement in August 2017. He is currently an independent consultant in energy, management, and leadership, he is a certified professional mediator and a certified executive coach.
He was elected to the Board of Stima Sacco in 2014. He served as Board Vice-Chairman from April 2016, as National Chairman from January 2017 to April 2018, and as Vice-Chairman from April 2019 to April 2021. He was re-appointed as the National Chairman on 7th March 2023. He is also a registered professional engineer with the Engineers Board of Kenya and a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya and the Institute of Directors.
