The Post Retirement Medical Fund (PRMF) is a scheme established to provide members in active employment with the opportunity to accumulate some savings, that will later be used for their health care coverage in retirement. All members of the Kenya Power Pension Fund are eligible to join.

Why join the PRMF

• To leverage on tax benefits: Contributions up to a maximum of Kshs 15,000 per month are tax free, thereby lowering your taxable income.
• To secure your health coverage beyond employment.
• The contributions are invested in income-generating assets that enhance the value of your savings.

You can join the PRMF by contributing either a fixed amount or a percentage of your basic salary.
